How Much Are 75,000 Marriott Points Worth?
Updated · By the WanderWise editorial team
75,000 Marriott Bonvoy points are worth about $525–$675 on hotel stays in 2026, at 0.7–0.9¢ per point. A long weekend at a full-service hotel, a week at a budget one, or one luxury night.
What 75,000 points realistically does
75,000 points covers two full-service nights at 30,000 each, or one luxury night in the lower half of the 60,000–100,000 range we measure. At 15,000-point select-service hotels it pays for five nights, which the fifth-night benefit turns into six. Transferred to most airlines it yields 30,000 miles (25,000 base plus one 5,000-mile bonus).
Nights 75,000 points can cover
Marriott has priced award nights dynamically since its award chart ended on March 29, 2022, so there is no fixed price per hotel. These are the points-per-night ranges we measure by property type; the night counts include Marriott's Stay for 5, Pay for 4 benefit and assume a similar price each night.
| Property type | Points / night | Nights with 75,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Select service Courtyard, Fairfield Inn | 15,000–25,000 | 3–6 nights |
| Full service Westin, Sheraton | 30,000–50,000 | 1–2 nights |
| Luxury The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis | 60,000–100,000 | 1 night on lower-priced dates only |
The Points Guy has reported nights of up to 150,000 points at Marriott's most aspirational luxury hotels — above the luxury range shown here. Before you book, divide the cash rate by the points price: above about 0.9¢ per point is a good redemption, below about 0.7¢ means paying cash is usually better.
Using 75,000 points with a free night certificate
Since March 12, 2026, Marriott lets you add up to 25,000 points to a free night certificate (up from 15,000). Your 75,000 points cover a full 25,000-point top-off with 50,000 to spare:
- 35K certificate → a night priced up to 60,000 points
- 50K certificate → a night priced up to 75,000 points
- 85K certificate → a night priced up to 110,000 points
Transferring 75,000 points to airline miles
75,000 points transfer to about 30,000 miles at most airline partners (3:1, plus 5,000 bonus miles for every 60,000 points). American, Avianca and Delta don't get the bonus, so those transfers yield about 25,000 miles. That only beats a hotel redemption when you have already found a specific award flight.
Our recommendation for 75,000 points
This is where the choice between "more nights" and "nicer nights" becomes real. Check cents per point on both — luxury hotels often return more value per point — and if you can stretch to five points nights at one hotel, do it to get the cheapest night free.

Frequently asked questions
How much are 75,000 Marriott points worth?
75,000 Marriott Bonvoy points are worth about $525–$675 on hotel stays, at 0.7 to 0.9 cents per point (The Points Guy values Marriott points at 0.75 cents as of September 2026). Redeemed for gift cards they are worth only about $300–$375.
How many free nights can I get with 75,000 Marriott points?
Using the points-per-night ranges we measure — about 15,000–25,000 at select-service hotels, 30,000–50,000 at full-service hotels and 60,000–100,000 at luxury hotels — 75,000 points covers about 3–6 nights at select-service hotels, or 1–2 nights at full-service hotels, or 1 night on lower-priced dates only at luxury hotels, counting Marriott's benefit that makes the cheapest night of a five-night points stay free. Marriott has had no award chart since 2022, so check the points price for your dates.
Is 75,000 Marriott points enough for a luxury hotel?
Sometimes. Luxury brands such as The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis run roughly 60,000 to 100,000 points a night in our measurements, so 75,000 points covers one night at the lower end. The Points Guy has reported up to 150,000 points a night at the most aspirational properties. 75,000 points are worth about $525 to $675 on hotel stays.
Can I transfer 75,000 Marriott points to airline miles?
75,000 points transfer to about 30,000 miles at most airline partners (3:1, plus 5,000 bonus miles for every 60,000 points). American, Avianca and Delta don't get the bonus, so those transfers yield about 25,000 miles. That is usually worth it only when you have already found a specific award flight that needs the miles.
