What We Collect
We collect only what we need to deliver your personalized report and improve our services. Here's what we gather:
Information You Provide Directly
Name and email address — Provided when you complete our intake form so we can deliver your report and communicate with you.
Spending information — Monthly spending estimates across categories like dining, groceries, gas, travel, and more, collected via our 12-step intake form. This is used to generate your personalized credit card strategy.
Travel preferences — Destinations of interest, travel frequency, and travel style, collected via our intake form.
Credit card information — Cards you currently hold and your rewards preferences. We never collect card numbers, CVVs, or login credentials.
Payment information — Processed securely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number.
Information Collected Automatically
Device and browser information — Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
Usage data — Pages visited, time on page, click patterns, and referral sources.
IP address — Used for approximate geographic location and security purposes.
Analytics data — Collected through Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Clarity, and Facebook Pixel. See the Cookies section below for details.
How We Use Your Information
Generate your personalized report — Your spending and travel data is sent to our AI system (Anthropic Claude) to create your customized credit card rewards strategy.
Process payments — Stripe handles your payment securely for report purchases ($67) and subscriptions ($19/mo).
Send transactional emails — We use Resend to deliver your report link and subscription-related communications.
Improve our services — Analytics data helps us understand how visitors use our site so we can make it better.
Provide customer support — Your contact information allows us to respond to questions and resolve issues.
We Never Sell Your Data
Period. Full stop. Your personal information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data with third-party services only as described below, strictly to operate and deliver our services.
Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted services to operate WanderWise. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data they process:
Stripe — Payment processing for report purchases and subscriptions. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
Supabase — Database hosting for intake form responses, report data, and subscription records.
Vercel — Website hosting and content delivery.
Resend — Transactional email delivery (sending your report link and subscription emails via send.wanderwiseguide.com).
Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI model provider used to generate your personalized report. Your intake form data is sent to Anthropic's API for report generation.
Google Analytics (GA4) — Website analytics and traffic measurement.
Facebook Pixel (Meta) — Advertising measurement and conversion tracking.
Microsoft Clarity — Session recording and heatmap analytics to help us understand user behavior and improve the experience.
When you click an affiliate link to a credit card application, you leave our website and enter the card issuer's site. Their privacy policy governs any information you provide to them.

Analytics data — Subject to each provider's retention policy (typically 14–26 months).

If we make significant changes, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top and, for major changes, notify affected users by email. We won't sneak anything past you.
